FAQ
FAQ
What size should I order?
Order the same size that you wear in regular running shorts. Size up if you are between sizes.
What is the modesty pad?
The modesty pad is a thin pad in the front panel. The purpose is to conceal the detail of your junk so you can comfortably wear them in public, to a run club, to your mother-in-law's house, etc.
Does the “No Pad” version still have some concealment?
Yes, the "No Pad" version has a double layer of mesh sewn in so the front panel has three layers of material. It provides decent concealment for those who don’t want added bulk from a pad.

Been running all over LA in these things and they live up to the hype!
Excellent quality and fit.
I think this would be great tights for doing a trail running in the summer and early fall I think for running marathons Road marathons they're little heavy for that action but definitely a good first attempt at a product.
Well made, comfortable, and becomes part of the body. Also the crotch panel keeps everything tucked in. Love it!!
Pretty mediocre fabric, too thick to be cooling and unnecessary thick branding everywhere. Pockets are too shallow
Thanks for the feedback. The fabric is intentionally on the heavier side for durability and coverage, but we hear you on breathability on hot days, that's something we're actively refining as we develop future colorways. We also made the inner phone pocket deeper on our newest batch based on feedback like yours.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this, it genuinely shapes what we build next. Cheers.
These are current the best and most comfortable half tights I own
Fit and style. Used for trail running, road running, hiking.
They are super comfortable. Feel premium. Love the modesty padding. Love the amount of storage. They look cool. Used for marathon training.
The cargo pockets make a huge difference. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training.
Very comfortable and like the pocket options and style. Have to put in more miles but so far great half tight. Used for trail running, road running, hiking.
The 4 waist pockets for holding gels. Used for road running, marathon training.
Pockets. Used for trail running, road running.
The feel and the storage. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training, hiking.
I was originally drawn to the look. I love the style and they stand out among other brands. I’ve also been looking for a half tight with a modesty layer and an assortment of pockets so I was sold. So far, I love the level of compression I get. I have skinnier legs and not all half tights give me that. They’re incredibly comfortable and feel like I can run forever in them. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training, hiking.
Styling and modesty pad. Used for road running.
I like the foam pad on them. Makes it easier to wear out and not worry. Also very comfortable and soft. Perfect! Used for road running, hiking.
Great leg fit and storage. Leg pockets are large & secure. Like the fabric feel and think they’ll be durable shorts. Used for trail running.
Lots of storage space. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training.
The compression feel and how well they stay in place. Used for trail running, road running.
style/comfort. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training, hiking.
The cargo pockets and tight cuffs. Used for trail running.
They look sick and they feel very high quality compared to other half tights. I love to big pocket on both sides too. Used for road running, marathon training.
Just used the tights for my 54KM ultra. Did fantastic but there are a couple things i think need some tweaking. The front padding was a bit too long, and caused some discomfort however i was able to cut a couple inches off the bottom to fix it. The pockets did great holding my gels but the phone pocket needs to be a bit longer and tighter. My Iphone 17pro max kept falling out and bouncing around. Overall, I would recommend them and look forward to version 2.
So many pockets, extremely comfortable. Used for trail running, road running.
The fit is great. Used for road running.
What originally caught my eye was the comparison to high end cycling bib shorts as someone who also cycles. Regular half tights have never felt as premium or flattering. Used for trail running, road running, marathon training.
The fit is great, no slipping or sliding, and the Pockets WOW, Phone, Gels so many pockets. These are a huge upgrade to another compression short with only one pocket, not mentioning the vendor ;-). Used for trail running, road running, gym workouts.
The foam panel. Used for road running, marathon training.
They are so perfect! I really like the foam panel in the front! Used for road running, marathon training.
Carrying capacity and modesty layer. Used for road running.
Hi Jake, as an avid runner and endurance athlete with a long background in triathlon (including time as a USAT Team Owner, now racing with Team Zoot), I’ve spent years training and racing in tri shorts. Finding a comparable half tight, without a cycling chamois, that actually performs well has always been a challenge. As I’ve shifted more into trail and ultra running, that search became even more important…and honestly, a bit frustrating, until I came across your Cargo Half Tights. So far, they’ve really hit the mark. The material, fit, leg cuff, pocket design, and inner waistband all stand out. They feel purpose-built for longer efforts, both on road and trail, and I’ve already put them through several long runs with great results. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be on the modesty layer, it could be thinned out a bit. It’s slightly thicker than needed, and I think a slimmer version would still do the job without adding extra bulk. I’m planning to put them to a real test at Gorge Waterfalls 100K on April 11, but based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m already interested in picking up another pair (definitely in black) and keeping an eye out for V2. I’m also intrigued by your standard half tights, the ventilation approach there could be a great addition to the cargo version down the line. One small personal note on branding: the large leg logo on the standard tights feels a bit bold for my taste. A more minimal approach, something like a subtle “HB” on the hip and “Hikebeast” across the back, would look really clean. Overall, really impressed with what you’re building. Looking forward to seeing how the product evolves and happy to chat anytime. Best, Charles. Used for trail running, road running.
